Senior Sonographer

Senior Sonographer | Outer East Melbourne


We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sonographer to join a newly established community-based clinic in Outer East Melbourne.


This permanent role offers a high level of clinical autonomy, the opportunity to work as a single-site Sonographer, and access to modern, state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive and well-resourced environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys clinic-based sonography, values independence, and wants to make a meaningful impact within the local community.


The Role

• Deliver high-quality ultrasound services across a full scanning range
• Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team
• Be the primary Sonographer at a single clinic site
• Build strong relationships with patients and referrers
• Utilise modern Canon ultrasound equipment in a brand-new clinic

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Minimum 4 years’ post-graduate experience as a Sonographer
• Broad scanning capability across a full range of examinations
• Experience with Canon machines (highly regarded)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, community-focused environment

Qualifications & Registration

• Relevant tertiary qualification in medical imaging or equivalent
• Current ASAR registration
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development

Salary & Benefits

• $70–$90 per hour + super
